UMVIM Team Leader Training

All Leader Training Workshops are 9 AM – 1 PM, and include a light lunch. There is a $10 fee, which includes one Team Leader Manual. Two (or three or four) participants per congregation would be GREAT(!) and provides much greater mission energy and  leadership. Click here to download the training information flyer.

Mission Trip to Ethiopia

October 13 - November 2, 2015: Earl Bolkan from Prescott UMC is looking for volunteers interested in participating in a construction trip to Ethiopia. This will be Earl's 5th trip to Ethiopia. The plan is to construct trusses or rafters and install roofing on a multi-purpose building at an orphanage and coat rough concrete block walls. The estimated cost for the trip is $3,000 per person. Mission Update

We have been overwhelmed by responses to our promotion of Missions in the Desert Southwest Conference. It has been a joy to talk to congregational facilitators of missions from all over the Conference. There are A LOT of people who are extremely passionate about missions.
